Hi my name’s Frit, and I run Passion Fruit Pictures.

I’m a British-born, Chinese, transgender filmmaker. I am also an adventurer: a hiker, climber, stand up paddleboarder, skier, and cyclist.

I’ve always been sporty, but it has taken me the best part of 30 years to embrace my undeniable adventurous spirit. Instead, I’ve previously turned to more ‘traditional’ avenues where I’ve often seen myself better represented. But these activities did not fill my soul in the same way. The fire in my belly had been tamed, but I wanted to fuel it and see where it could lead me.

I finally let myself dream, and set up Passion Fruit Pictures to tell the adventure stories that I’ve been wanting to see since I was a child.

I have so much hope and excitement for the future of the adventure industry. There are infinite untold stories, and countless people just starting out on their first outdoor adventures, set to change the way we view sports and the capabilities of our bodies. The industry is evolving, and with these new stories beginning to surface, we will all be more enriched for it.
