“Brave Enough is one of the most honest and beautiful adventure films I've seen in a long time. Jo's heartfelt desire to make the world a better place, and her determination to keep going mile after mile, are so inspiring, and she is definitely, and undeniably, Brave Enough.”

- Cal Major (SUP World Record Holder)

Brave Enough

Jo Moseley is a 55 year old stand up paddleboarder.

In 2016, she came up with the idea to SUP 162 miles from Liverpool to Goole on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and Aire & Calder Navigation. Her adventure idea was met with less than enthusiastic responses, namely that it might be difficult for someone “of [her] age”. In 2019, Jo decided to revisit the idea and ignore the naysayers. Embarking on an adventure that would result in her becoming the first woman to paddleboard the Coast to Coast Trail, the journey would challenge and surprise her in more ways than one.

“A rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish in the best possible way, Frit’s capture of Jo’s story keeps you entirely hooked and proud at the same time”

- Josh Osmond, Not The Safe Route

“[This] film made my heart swell. I love how [Jo] shows us that joy can be sought and found on any stretch of waterway, or path, in life … Grief, loss, fear, courage, hope and happiness, Jo shares her emotional journey with us and emboldens us to embark on our own. I loved this film and I want to share it with all the wonderful women I know.

- Anna Kessel MBE, Editor at Telegraph Women's Sports
